I'll help you with planning your photoshoot and provide direction and support on the day, If you have any questions, ask away, by contacting me here, or look at my frequently asked questions page.

STEP ONE
1. Getting to know you
The first step is getting to know each other and what you are expecting from the shoot. This is usually by phone or video link and includes:

-
Finding out about your family, personality and any interests you may have to make your shoot more personal to you.

-
Any locations you would like to shoot at including your own home.

-
An opportunity to answers any questions you may have about the shoot.

-
Book a time for your session in my diary if you're ready to proceed. Payment will be needed to secure your booking.
2. Planning Appointment
About a week before your shoot I will contact you and we can have a meet up online via video link or phone call to confirm arrangements and answer any last minute questions before your session. Here we can:

-
Finalise the location for the shoot.

-
Discuss what to bring on your photoshoot including what to wear.

-
Options if rain comes our way on the day - although I do shoot in the rain and it can sometimes make for a fun shoot!

-
Any other questions.

STEP THREE
3. The Portrait Session
On the day we will meet up at the arranged location and start shooting! I'll try and make the session relaxed and fun. It's usual to move around the location to get the best views.

Most people hate having their photographs taken, including me, so it does take 10 minutes or so to loosen up and get used to being in front of a camera. This is entirely natural and nothing to be afraid of!

During the shoot, depending on what's been pre-arranged, I will usually photograph the whole family together and then work on the the kids together and then individuals. If there's anything else you think of on the day, just let me know.

At the end of the session, I would have taken around 60+ images for you to choose from later on.
